CHESHUNT – PHASE 1A & 1B - INTEGRATED HOIST SUPPORT FOR MULTI-BLOCK DEVELOPMENT
Overview
Archis Hoist Solutions partnered with Inland Homes to provide a fully integrated hoist solution at their large residential development site on Delamare Road, Cheshunt. Across both Phase 1A and 1B, we supported the vertical transportation needs of multiple blocks by supplying and installing a combination of high-capacity materials and passenger hoists to facilitate scaffold access, cladding, and brickwork progression.
Our close working relationship with the Inland team allowed us to respond quickly to evolving site logistics and ensure the right hoist systems were installed at each stage of the build.

This project demonstrated our ability to provide complex scaffolding and hoist solutions across varied building types, with minimal disruption and full regulatory compliance.
Phase 1A – Initial Hoist Deployment
To kickstart the early construction works, we deployed a 2000kg Alimak Combi M hoist, integrated seamlessly into the scaffold structure. With a generous 3.2m wide x 1.5m high cage, this hoist was chosen specifically to move large materials efficiently and meet the site’s early-stage loading demands.
Our scaffold division worked in tandem with the hoist team to deliver a solution that offered both vertical access and strong structural integration.
Phase 1B – Expanded Access Across Multiple Elevations
As the project progressed into Phase 1B, we scaled up our involvement by supplying three hoists across different elevations. These were deployed to support all trades in accessing higher levels during façade, window, and roofing works.
At this stage, scaffold erection was ongoing across three elevations, with the fourth already completed and handed over. Our hoist installations remained fully aligned with the programme, ensuring seamless logistics for materials and workforce access throughout the build.
